Yannick Dacheux, hot air balloon pilot in Annecy
700 hours of flight and a passion for the sky since 2004.
A life devoted to flying
Born in Saint-Brieuc in 1981 and the father of two, Yannick holds an agricultural BTS diploma and a DEESMI in marketing.
He took up paragliding in 2004, obtained his State paragliding diploma (brevet d’État) in 2010 and offered speed riding flights for several years. In 2007 he discovered hot air ballooning, and he obtained his pilot licence in 2016. Today he has more than 700 hours of flight.
With Aero-Mountains, he offers hot air balloon flights over Lake Annecy, departing from Doussard. He now devotes his life to this passion and regularly takes part in hot air balloon championships as a crew member and navigator. He also enjoys visiting family and friends by balloon, over the castles of the Loire and the cliffs of Brittany.
